Schools Division of Isabela City through the dynamic leadership of OIC Superintendent Dr. Jay S. Montealto magnified its ties with the 101st Infantry Brigade under the command of BGen. Alvin Luzon. The visit transpired on January 11, 2023 at the 101st Brigade, Tabiawan Barangay, Isabela City.
Foremost, SDS Montealto extended his warmest gratitude for the extraordinary support and commitment of BGen. Luzon to Deped Isabela City on its programs and activities especially during the Brigada Eskwela and continued to look forward with the same commitment for the learners of the Isabela City.
With the plans of opening new schools in some remote areas due to difficulty in access to basic education, SDS Montealto also seeked the support of the brigade through the bayanihan spirit by building makeshifts or temporary classrooms for the learners.
Furthermore, a safety plan for the bid to host the Zamboanga Peninsula Atheletics Association Meet 2025 was initially discussed. BGen. Luzon ensured that in the event the hosting pushes through, the bridage will be in the frontline to provide safe sports events for the different delegations.
On the other hand, SDS Montealto vouched to also support the programs and projects of the 101st IB for Isabela City. He added to look into the plans of both entities for interconnections and future engagement.
Joining SDS Montealto were SGOD Chief Eduardo G. Gulang, SEPS SocMob Shaidomar Francisco, PSDS Yashier U. Susulan and retired EPS Jani P. Ismael.
