The long wait is over! Schools Division of Isabela City through the dynamic leadership of Superintendent Dr. Jay S. Montealto spearheaded the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the proposed construction of the 3-storey Division Office with roof deck, January 16, 2024, on its new site at Cabunbata Barangay, Isabela City.
As he welcomed the guests and attendees, SDS Jay expressed his utmost gratitude for the support given by the local stakeholders. Moreover, he acknowledged the effort of the previous leadership of SDS Babon who took the lead and initiated such project during the latters’ time in SDO Isabela City.
Furthermore, Mayor Dadah Hataman expressed her confidence towards Deped and the education sector for the crucial role in molding the learners’ future. With the goal of the LGU towards a happy and dignified city, she is elated to observe that the efforts, priorities, and directions of the government and SDO Isabela City are now aligned.
Moreover, Congressman Mujiv pronounced his thankfulness to United Workers Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Multi-purpose Cooperative (UWARBMPC) and Deped Isabela City for bringing the new office to Cabunbata Barangay. Thus, he looked forward to the potentials this may create for the people and the organization.
With her immense appreciation and adoration, RD Ruth Fuentes articulated her gratitude to Mayor Dadah and Congressman Mujiv for the partnership and engagement, how they put premium and value in education, the support in Teledukasyon and how they lobbied in giving the best quality education for the learners. In addition, she wished the whole country to know the potentials Isabela City has – from its excellent human resource and promising physical environment.
Also in attendance in this ceremonial groundbreaking were ASDS Maria Laarni T. Villanueva who acknowledged all the attendees, former SDS Hilda U. Babon, UWARBMPC Chairman Mr. Allan Catamco, former chairmen and Board of Trustees, Board Member Amin Hataman, Engr. Ladeslao Darunday of Zamboanga 3CV Construction, SGOD Chief Eduardo G. Gulang, Education Program Supervisor, Public Schools District Supervisors, ICNHS Principal Rahman Asjali and teaching staff, Deped Personnel and other stakeholders.
