The Commission on Audit is in the process of finalizing the result of CY 2023 audit of the Schools Division of Isabela City. By this process, COA spearheaded the Exit Conference for CY 2023 Audit Observations and Recommendations held at the Basilan National High School ILC, March 12, 2024.
Every end of the year, COA conducts this exit conference to discuss observations and recommendations which serve as an eye-opener for all in knowing the strengths and weaknesses of the organization. Thus, COA has the power, authority and duty to examine, audit and settle accounts of expenditures and uses of government funds.
Representing COA were Audit Team Leader Ma. Carolina S. Enriruez and Audit Team Members Joab A. Lee, Yacob Buklasan and Peachy Gayle Martinez.
Meanwhile, SDO Isabela City was represented by SDS Jay S. Montealto. Also present during the activity were ASDS Maria Laarni T. Villanueva, SGOD Chief Eduardo Gulang, CID Chief Henry R. Tura, Accountant Ariane Joy Zerrudo and other Deped Personnel.
In addition, BNHS Principal Lyna H. Basri and Begang NHS Principal Tita O. Tan were also in attendance representing Implementing Unit Secondary Schools.
