The role of teachers holds profound importance to so many lives. With this role, it is just right that the world acknowledges and celebrates the crucial and impactful contributions of teachers in the community.
Schools Division of Isabela City was in one with the entire nation in celebrating the 2024 World Teacher’s Day held at the Isabela City Civic Center (ICCC), Binuangan Barangay, October 05, 2024.
The festive mood and colorful and vibrant energy of the teachers added spice in the celebration, concocted with genuine friendship and dynamic participation among them.
Led by Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Jay S. Montealto and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Maria Laarni T. Villanueva, the program amazed the attendees for all the support and prices given to them, outsourced by the National Employee Union President Ms. Ariane Joy Zerrudo.
Gracing the occasion was Isabela City Mayor Hon. Sitti Djalia who shared her sincerest message to all present. In addition, she took time to move from one district to another for photo opportunities with teachers.
Furthermore, Congressman Mujiv Hataman also shared his support to the teachers, most especially those who were recipients of the Loyalty Service Award.
Also present were BM Amin Hataman, City Councilors Abner Rodriguez, Jay Casas, and Ar-Jhemar Ajibon. Attending as well were City Administrator Peter Eisma, other City Employees, and invited takeholders.
Highlighting the event where teachers showcased their talents were Doble-Kara Singing Competition and Teachers’ Got Talent. Also, everyone was in an intense emotion as all were anticipating their names to be called during the Raffle Draw where prices like motorcycles, refrigerators, washing machines, television units, and cash were at stake.
Indeed, this year’s celebration was truly special. Thus, SDO Isabela City would like to express its deepest gratitude to all the Stakeholders and various Committees who provided their utmost support to all the teachers in Isabela City.
