DCP Checking and Monitoring: A Mode to Secure a Smooth ICT Integration to Education

The Isabela City Schools Division Information Technology Team and the Commission on Audit visited Basilan National High School for the division-wide conduct of DCP Monitoring last Tuesday, October 18, 2022.

This monitoring was in line with the Division Letter no. 33, series 2022, “Monitoring of DepEd Computerization Program (DCP)”. Ms. Armida C. Roilo, IT Officer of the Isabela City Schools Division, Ms. Adawiya Jalil, Supply Officer, Ms. Ma. Carolina Enriquez, State Auditor III, Ms. Ma. Teresa Tan, ADAS III, Mr. Marlon Juaton, ICT Staff, Mr. Jani P. Ismael, Education Program Supervisor for MAPEH, and Mr. Eugenio A. Andrion Jr., Education Program Supervisor for SPED formed a monitoring team who inspected the four (4) computer laboratories for Junior High School and Senior High School.

The issued units of computers, DepEd laptops, and PC Tablets where keenly inspected by the team from the Division where they counted the total number of units, checked the DCP accessories and as well as the functionality of the units in the computer laboratory.

Ms. Roilo also elaborated about the guidelines of the usage of the DCP by the teachers and students. The different ICT Coordinators namely, Ms. Sarah N. Flores, Mr. Reymond D. Lim, Mr. Manuel Oliveros, Mr. Omar M. Usman, and Mr. Ferdinand Ventura explained the status of the computers under their care.

The monitoring concluded with a commendation from the DCP monitoring team of the Isabela City Schools Division since the presentation was satisfactory.
